Below are After Effects projects that I created either as one-offs for social media or for use in one of my video projects.
Looklive Sports Show MoGraph Package
As a showrunner for the FloSports podcast "The Upstage," we were in need of an updated motion graphic look to modernize the basic template from the previous look.
Using After Effects and Photoshop, I created a fully customizable look-live graphics package with fully expression-driven animation, multiple customizable tickers, and a dynamic Sportscenter-style topic list and countdown timer. I also redesigned the show logo.
"Practice How You Perform" VFX
I created this as a part of my video series on the Santa Clara Vanguard. To execute this, I had to use my shooting skills to capture nearly identical takes of the same action at different times of day, and combine it with my After Effects skills to seamlessly transition between them in a way that was satisfying to watch.
As a part of my work with the Arizona Rattlers, I was tasked with creating a branded social media graphic for team wins.
I mocked up some animation and design concepts that felt appropriate to the team [use of a 'slithery' slice transition, a rattling effect, and desert imagery] to create something eye-catching that felt unique to the Rattlers.
3D Animation
I wanted to combine some elements of my photography skills with a 3D animation, so for this I created a responsive and animated Instagram feed before attaching it to a 3D model for a sleek animation.
3D Camera Track
For a video covering the ASU Dance Team's 2020 national competition prep, I created an immersive title screen by adding 3D text tracked to the footage I filmed.
